Online shopping is one of the best things that ever happened to my life (sad right?) so I always get super excited when I come across a new online store. Minusey.com is great for people who are fans of Urban Outfitters or Nasty Gal. I really like the Givenchy inspired pieces. Although nothing is as good as the real thing, these cool items will definitely help you fake it til you make it ;)

My New York Fashion Week S/S 13

New York is alive this week with fashion and fun. I had a great time hitting up parties and shows and of course I tried to take as many pics as possible.

Labor Day Weekend

Spent the long weekend in D.C. It was a rather lowkey weekend but eventful nonetheless. My best friend and I were asked to be guests on Listen Vision radio. It is an online station that airs a one hour segment every Thursday called "Boi You Stupid." The co-hosts cover a range of topics each week and this past week we discussed relationships. It was quite entertaining to say the least.

I also met up with my linesister Ivie (also known as blogger The Extraordinaire) for dinner and drinks at Busboys and Poets. She is heading to London so I think a vacation is in order to visit her soon :)

Borrow From the Boys

As much as we try to ignore it, fall is quickly approaching us. Although my summer has been amazing, I have to admit I am looking forward to fall because I love the clothes. One trend that I am definitely going to incorporate into my wardrobe this season is the chic sweatshirt. Graphic sweatshirts are not just for the boys anymore. You can find celebs like Rihanna and Cassie pairing theirs with chic skirts and pretty makeup.

Trillectro

My friends over at DC to BC put on an awesome hip-hop/electronica music festival this past weekend in D.C. called Trillectro.The turn out was amazing, especially since this was the first event of its kind in the city. It was a great time for me to catch up with friends from college and hear some new artists.
