Angela Simmons by Indique Launch Party

This week I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the Angela Simmons "Bikini" hair line by Indique with my linesister and blogger Chellywellz. Angela looked pretty and of course everyone's hair was ON POINT lol. Check out a couple pics below:

I always thought her character Ashley Davenport on Revenge was super cute but it turns out the actress looks even better off camera. I love the fact that she mixes affordable pieces with high end ones and she loves to rock the signature MAC Ruby Woo lip color! Check her out here:

Concrete Jungle

I am finally settled in NY and have been able to go out and explore the city a little bit. I wore this outfit to First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Musuem. I mixed a striped indigo dyed t-shirt with a water dot printed tan silk skirt. This is a nice event for fashion lovers as well because everyone comes dressed to impress with outfits that really show off their individual style. If any have of you have not been definitely check it out in July. It is a great place to meet people, hear good music, and see some cool looks.

Also, in random NY fashion my friends and I recently ran into Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas while walking down the street. I have never watched the show but my friend loves him so we got them to take a pic together. Cute:)

The picture is not the best quality so I tried to zoom in a little on different parts of the outfit. I absolutely love this little drop-waist dress and the color is perfect for the summer! In other news, I recently moved to NY because I got a great opportunity to pursue my love of fashion. Once I get settled I will definitely post tons of new pictures.
